Every now and then you come across one of those campgrounds that don’t take themselves to seriously but still get their message across. The New Lisbon Family Campground is one of those places.
We particularly liked their display that honors our military.
They have big pull through sites perfect for the overnight guest like us.
Though we like the ease of getting a camping spot in these days of COVID, we hope it doesn’t last too long so these campgrounds can remain open.
Back in the tree-covered area is where we get the true flavor of the owners and the annual residence of the park. Here is a great alternative to the very confusing “Slow Children at Play” signs. I mean, how rude to leave out the “Fast Children at Play.”
And it is obvious they care very much about their squirrels despite the fact that they must not be very smart.
This is a park that is very concerned about the comfort of all the residents. I hope we are back this way again someday so we can spend more time here and get to know the people, community, and owners of the park.
Our next stop is Lewisburg, OH, where we plan to spend a couple of nights at Phil and Sue’s house.
