It is cold. It is snowing. John hasn’t been gone more than 24 hours and we are getting hit with a Nor’easter.
Luckily Bob, the brother-in-law, came over with a snow thrower and fixed us all up.
Our poor babies! Under all that snow! It’s okay. Our RV does pretty well at keeping us warm in cold weather…well, the floors get a bit chilly, but that is what fluffy socks are for! And Jeeps, they are meant for playing.
We been given some not so good news. Mom has a bladder infection and it is MRSA. When mom was first diagnosed with cancer, the oncologist told her cancer would not be her undoing but an infection. We now know what infection that will be.
Hospice, god bless them, have been adjusting her medications to keep her comfortable. It seems this is going to be a weekly thing. But, the medication is doing its job and keeping her pain free. I found mom and Verne cooking in the kitchen.
On a positive note, Travis got a puppy! An aussie-doodle named Ollie. There is nothing like puppy kisses and snuggles to bring a smile to someone’s face.
