I don’t know that you can call it the trip to Oregon that we were hoping for, but here we are. John has to be to work in Tacoma, Washington on June 2. We really enjoyed our time in the Redwood area of California, so I guess our overnight along the Oregon coast will have to suffice for this trip.
It really is quite lovely even if the wind has quite the bite to it. As for Eli and Jake, they don’t seem to mind the cool breeze at all and, in fact, they seem invigorated! Since their first introduction to the ocean and several trips after to the coast, they seem to have adjusted to the runaway-attack behavior of the water.
Jacob is a lot less concerned about it than Eli who keeps a close eye on that crazy water.
Back home in Pennsylvania, we go to the nursery to buy azaleas to put in our yard. Here in Oregon, they grow wild, everywhere and in a multitude of colors. Who knew!
We hope to come back to Oregon someday and explore the inland part and maybe take a hike on one of their amazing trails.
