Any of you who have talked at all to John about our coach has heard him complain about our air leveling system and suspension.
The original owner never got it to work properly so we knew there were issues from the start.
John fixed as many issues as he could while we were in New Mexico where it was warm and dry. However we were still having problems maintaining level. At his wits end, he contacted the manufacturer and they gave us an appointment date. Moscow, Iowa here we come.
We got to HWH early afternoon on Monday, June 24th and picked our spot for the night, since our appointment wasn’t until Tuesday morning.
Rain and thunderstorms were predicted for the area, no big deal right? WRONG! Coming across the skyline we saw this:
“Wow, that is some thunderhead huh? Well, it wasn’t just a thunderstorm in those clouds; a tornado was hidden in there somewhere. Lucky for us it went around us and hit the near by town of Muscatine. Our NOAA radio didn’t sound the alarm until AFTER the tornado blew through. hmmmm….
Our neighbors in the parking lot commented “Welcome to Iowa and midwest weather”.
Since the HWH complex did not have any power outages all repairs continued on time. So Tuesday morning in to the garage our baby went with several other RV’s.
Several hours later she was all fixed up and the bill wasn’t near as bad as we thought. Tomorrow (Wednesday) we start our 5 day journey home to PA. See you all on Monday!!!
