My legs don’t hurt this morning!!!! We have successfully finished a full week of four 10 hour days at Amazon and like our fellow campers we feel that this is a major accomplishment. Our job doesn’t walk us around the warehouse a lot but it does involve a lot of squatting, then standing, then squatting, then standing….you get the picture. Our thighs were so sore, I felt like I do after a spring time hike on the Loyalsock Trail.
Today Saturday, Oct 26th, our campground owners, Sid and Victoria, had a fall picnic and chili cook off. We slept through the chili judging, but we were right on time for some hamburgers and other good food. Victoria was busy cooking the hamburgers…
…while Sid was chatting with everyone.
We’ve made some friends at Buckeye. Randy and Evelyn (cowboy hats) and a girl from Lithuania, Viktorija (also in a cowboy hat), sitting at the picnic table. Yeah Ted, from Lithuania!!!! What are the chances, right?
And Jim and Becky, who are a very interesting couple with whom we enjoy spending evenings chatting and trading stories.
John thinks it is time for a nap….*yawn*….I think he might be right.
