My legs don’t hurt any more!! Our second full week at Amazon is complete and we both are feeling great. Our backs are still al little tired by the end of the day, but all in all, we are doing just fine. This week we start the Christmas Peak schedule and we will be working Wednesday through Saturday, and our overtime days are Monday and Tuesday.

Daylight Savings time has ended, Halloween is over, the days and nights are cooler, the November winds are blowing and the landscape is coloring up. Winter is coming.

For those of you in PA who wonder about fall in the South, they do have a foliage show. I would say the colors are more muted, with the occasional brilliant red or orange tree. The yellows seem as bright but the reds are more a brick red and the oranges more a burnt orange. Still a pretty sight to see.

This past Saturday we gathered our new friends together and went out for Pizza. Our Friday night pizza tradition has moved to Saturday and with our new work schedule will be moving to Sunday.

In a town about 20 miles or so from our campground is the Brother’s Railroad Inn. They make specialty pizzas among other great food. Here we are with the gang. From left to right: Lois, Cindy, Rob, Danny, Karen, Duane, Debbie, John and Greg.

After dinner we went back to Duane and Debbie’s place where we talked into the wee hours of the morning. Well when your day runs from 1pm to 5am, staying up into the wee hours of the morning is nothing.

Lois commented that we are primed for bar hopping….to bad none of us are bar people.
