The arctic blast of cold weather is here and will be so for about a week. 1:30 in the afternoon 27 degrees, low overnight was 17. Tonight is might get as low as 7 degrees. Brrrrrrr.
With the cold temps, Christmas lights and decorations, Christmas music playing everywhere, shopping for gifts and now the snow (ok it is only a dusting but still) I’m really into the holiday spirit.
Our first overtime week is 2/3 over (as stated by our friend Danny) and we aren’t feeling to bad, though I do feel pretty tired by the end of our shift. 17 more working days are left in our contract. Christmas is coming fast.
The conveyors that carry the orders from the warehouse to the shipping area are almost always full, where before there was only a tote or two a minute going by.
Most of our Christmas shopping is done, just one more grandbaby to go on our list. The coach is decorated and Bernie is in his new Christmas outfit.
