It is that time of year again: outdoor and sportsman shows. The Dallas Safari Club International show kicks off the season and is where we started our RV adventures last year.
We pulled into downtown Dallas with little trouble but a lot of “white knuckling” as we navigated the city. Whew! John doesn’t want to do that again anytime soon!
EuroOptic has a strong presence at the show and since we were in the area we stopped by to help setup and John worked the show for a few days.
The guys moved the cabinets into place, built the structures and then secured them on top of the cabinets.
Next they hung the banners and put up the spot lights.
Out came the literature, the scopes and binoculars, and finally the firearms. Voilà! Let the show begin!
Here the “boys” are, hard at work making sales and the show hasn’t even started yet. EuroOptic carries nothing but the best and the customer’s know it.
We left the show early to head to Quartzite Arizona where we have friends waiting for our arrival. It was sad to say good-bye again to our “EuroOptic family” but we know we will see them again soon.
For now, it is off to the desert for some rest and relaxation, before the next whirlwind adventure weeps us up.
Wow…what a display! I am sure the show went well! It was a great blog getting to see all the display. So here we are in Louisiana….yep…we have already seen an alligator! But have to admit that it is one of the live exhibits along with 2 native snakes. Gumbo, the alligator is only 18 months old and about 10 inches or so long. We had a great trip to Louisiana….but still trying to get our repairs done. Seems as tho the cold cold weather in Indiana where the factory is was shut down for a wk longer after the holidays….UGH… so the parts weren’t wouldn’t be to the OK City dealer until Feb 20th… 🙁 So we left, hoping to get a place near us at Lacome LA to do the work! Here’s hoping!!!!! 🙂
