Oh my goodness!!! It was 92 degrees at the end of the afternoon. Let’s see, just a few days ago it was 50 degrees making this a 40 degree difference, no wonder we are dying!
It was a nice day to wash the jeep though, especially since we got it all dusty yesterday running around on all the dirt roads in the Sproul Forest. I was afraid that my windshield wipers wouldn’t work again if it got too wet inside (they do that periodically) but they were fine. However my clock changed it’s time and my radio doesn’t work again. As soon as it dries out it should be OK.
This morning we attended the Bark for Life event in South Williamsport community park. It is a Relay for Life that focuses on how dogs and pets help cancer victims through their ordeals. Sophie was remarkably well behaved considering she just wants to fight with most of the dogs she comes across. Cooper was his very social self and was meeting and greeting all the dogs he could, and he was even letting people pet him too. We walked our mile and headed for home, it was getting hot and the dogs were still tired from out outing yesterday.
Oh, and I missed a few spots with my suntan lotion…I look like a patchwork quilt.
