OK, John has our engine overheat problem figured out; some sort of fan/temperature sensor. Now he just needs to find the right part. For now he has by-passed the problem and we were able to continue on to our next stop.
We’ve found a little campground, Keyhole State Park outside of Moorcroft, just south of Devil’s Tower.
I LOVE off peak camping. We had our pick of sights and there were only about 5 of us in the whole campground. There were several camping areas around the lake and I wanted to go to Pat’s Peak.
The campground was located on a point and we were surrounded by water. John was quite happy with the view out of the front window.
There were pronghorns all over the park.
It was nice to take sometime to relax after all of the sightseeing and traveling over the last couple of days. I even got to finish my fall table topper that I made for our steering wheel table.
The sunsets here are soothing, and brilliant reflecting off of the lake.
The sunrises are pretty good too.
Today….back to sightseeing, we are heading for Devil’s Tower.
