It is nice to visit family, but there is no place like home. I spent 3 weeks with my son’s family helping out with the new baby. A fun time to say the least…but it was the longest amount of time we’ve spent apart in our 10 years of marriage. Yes we survived but neither of us are anxious to repeat the experience.
John is busy working 11 hour days at Amazon so I have been keeping busy cleaning and doing all of the little things I have a hard time getting done when John is under foot. One of those tasks is decorating for Christmas. Some RV’ers do nothing, some go over the top, I feel that I fall somewhere in the middle.
I hang a few lights, this year I also put lights on the cactus and got a little Christmas tree.
Bernie is of course dressed up for the holidays. I think I might get him a new outfit next year….maybe an elf! I can have an elf on a wall instead of an elf on a shelf…ha ha ha…Ok maybe all this alone time isn’t good for me.
According to my Me-Me (RIP) it isn’t Christmas without a Poinsettia, so….
Another task I like to do is go through pictures, and after 3 weeks with my Grandson Liam and his new brother Ryan, I have PLENTY to go through. When taking pictures of kids I tend to just start snapping and hope that I get something good.
Occasionally I’ll get a series of pictures that “tell a story” so to speak. I’ve got several of each child. In this post I’ll share one set for each kid. See if you can come up with a story of what might be going through their minds…(I’ll share the others later)
Liam is playing with my Kindle Paperwhite.
and here is little Ryan’s. We were riding in the car (obviously) after taking Liam to play at the park.
Enjoy!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year you two.
