We left Rutledge lake Wednesday morning April 22 and arrived at our new campground late that afternoon. Once we were snuggled in our spot we propped our feet up and relaxed.
John had been working really hard everyday at Rutledge and just wanted to do nothing for a while.
We had a couple of days to kill before Andy and Candy arrived so we spent time in the park relaxing and taking little walks around our new backyard.
Behind the tent area we discovered a fairly big pond. It is loaded with fish and turtles, and in the summer we are betting mosquitos and other bity-bugs.
Afternoons and evenings we spent swimming in the indoor pool and relaxing in the indoor hot tub. Rough life I know, but this is “vacation time” not work time.
By Sunday April 26th Andy and Candy arrived and we were ready to start sight-seeing.
Look! I can see them out of our living room window!!
Ready to do it again? We already miss the hot tub!
John asked if I wanted to go to the hot tube the day you left. I said “Nah, its not the same without them”.
