For years we have been a one laptop couple. Well I just couldn’t take it any more.
Working on the web site and blog, not to mention all the studying for the classes I teach, I need a lot of computer time. John spends a lot of time on gun forums and buying and selling guns. That also is time-on-the-computer intensive. There just aren’t enough hours in the evening for both of us to get everything done that we want to.
So off to Best Buy we went. Origonally I thought maybe a netbook (or mini laptop) would be fine for what he does with a computer. Well the mini’s were just two mini. Besides a high-end netbook costs about the same as a low end laptop and the laptop can do much more.
We went with the laptop, it is a Dell. John is happily surfing the Internet while I’m writing this blog entry….ah, marital bliss.
