It was going to be a so-so day, neither of us wanted to stick around the house, but John did not think he had a lot of energy for anything major. So I suggested another Geocaching day. Only this time I would pick the route and the caches. He said, OK especially since he owed me a good day of caching.
While we were out and about we stopped in Lyon’s camping supply and spoke with the ladies in there for a while. We were looking for an updated map of the Old Loggers Path. In speaking with them John mention about his desire to start a shuttle service to the Old Loggers Path. The woman said that there really wasn’t anyone doing that and to get her his information. So he was all excited.
I asked her if she was still interested in doing a seminar on Geocaching. She said she was, so I told her that we had put together a class but hadn’t really done much about arranging to run the class anywhere. Again she asked for some info and said that they tried to run the workshops during the winter time. Guess we are going to be busy.
After that we strolled on down to OIP and had some lunch. Then it was off to search for caches. We did pretty well with only 2 “Did Not Finds” out of the 15 caches we tried for, not bad. We also were able to pick up a couple of caches that had been bugging us for litterally for years. It just seems it was never the right time or there were too many muggles, or too much snow. This time it was just right for both.
